The world wide web is a major function of the internet that is utilized in everyday life. The Internet is just a worldwide network of computers while the world wide web is the collection of web documents, links and web pages that provide services to people all over the world.
There are so many reasons, I don't think that the person who invented it knows all of them! First off, business, family, books, schooling, college, communication, fun, games, entertainment, projects, practice, etc.
There are several reasons the internet is important to people.
