What was so bad about Hades the god of the underworld?

Modern day people think of him being bad, being the god of death and whatnot, but the Ancient Greeks never saw death as a bad thing, just the entrance to a new life. They did not necessarily welcome it, but they did not fear it as much as we do today. He wasn't seen as evil or bad. The only thing that was bad about him was the fact he actually stolen a woman to be his wife, but then returned her. lol. Weird right?
