Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the red indicator stays on, then release the CODE SEARCH button. 3. Press and quiclkly release the desired mode button 9TV, DVD, etc.). The red indicator blinks off once. 4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device (TV, DVD, etc.) changes channel. The red indicator blinks once with each button press. The remote codes for the Toshiba DC-SB2 soundbar can vary depending on the brand of your universal remote. Common codes for Toshiba devices include 0436, 0463, and 0590. To program your remote, refer to its manual for specific instructions on entering these codes. If these codes do not work, consult the remote's brand-specific code list or Toshiba's support resources.
I just used a Zenith code 1255 for my Toshiba HDTV and it worked! Good Luck!
Only code I could get to work was the Toshiba code: 015
First, you must find the three digit code for your device. You can find this code at Toshiba's website under the page "Remote Control Codes". Once you have the code, go to the "Mode Select" button on your remote control and select the device you wish to control. Finally, aim your remote control at the device, hold down the "Recall" button, and enter the three digit code.
1343 is the Visio code.
The answer is as follows.... From Toshiba........ Regrettably, we do not have any information about what code number or even whether or not a universal remote will work one of our products. That is, we do not know if the frequency on which our products operate will "translate" into a code number in another brand's remote or an after-market universal remote. Our remotes are pre-programmed at the factory to work our products automatically, so there is no "code number" by which they operate or need to be set up. Other remotes will have codes for different brands of products. In the remote's instructions, if "Toshiba" is listed under the product that you're trying to control, then the codes given for Toshiba would each need to be checked in order to see which, if any, are the frequency to which your particular product will respond. If there is no response, then I recommend you contact the manufacturer of the remote to see if they have another code that will work or a search method to find a working code.
