All computer systems must have 4 things:

Input.

Output.

Processor.

Storage.

The nature of these things can vary, but all 4 must be present in one form or another.

You will need a tower box to put it in, but the main components needed are going to be

1. Motherboard (everything else runs off of this, its best to buy one already assembled)

2. Harddrives (I recommend 2, one to run everything from and the other for storage)

3. CD Drive(s)

4. Extra Fans, the more you have the better

5. An Operating system disc to upload once you have the disk drive working.

There are a lot of awesome web sites out there to show you step by steps! Just Google that b.
