There are many facets of an Operating System that helps protect data. The most important thing however, is that the user themselves protect data. Do not send your data to unknown sources or allow unknown users access to your data.

To answer your question more specifically, hard drive encryption is one of the most OS specific ways to protect your data. Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise will allow you to encrypt your data using Bitlocker. Encryption will prevent someone from being able to access your data if the computer is stolen or the hard drive is stolen.

From an application level, UAC (Universal Access Control) that is built into the Windows OS helps prevent Administrative access to install unwanted applications that may contain malware or virus that could steal your data.

What are the common information technology project problems?

zfbfb People Forgetting Passwords Operating system getting old and unstable needing to be reinstalled Internet explorer crashing, malware taking over computer Can't connect to a computer, slow computer startup My question is when you use a recovery disc on somebody elses computer it won't let you because that disc is not intended for that computer it has a different OEM or something like that. So what does this mean, does it look at your operating system product key and say this is a different computer or does it look at your motherboard or something else???

Draw a data flow diagram for an hospital management system?

For any data flow diagram first look at the existing processes. Student registration, class selection, professor/teacher class assignment, testing, grading and I am sure the list goes on. Once you have provided the beginning scope of the software by pruning the list of existing processes you can then develop a list of documents and communications that are used to transfer information and authority to others in the system. It is these documents and activities that are data flow items. The entities that are involved in sending or receiving these same communications are nodes in the system. Of course this is cursory and very general answer.

Why is the CPU considered like the brain of computer?

The CPU is also called the Central Processing Unit, which is exactly what it does. It runs all of the processes for every little program running on your computer. It decides which system resources go to which program, and closes and opens programs. Without a CPU, the computer is useless, as it even controls the Operating System. You can view the CPU's current processes by open your Task Manager. To do this is different on different operating systems, so you will need to look that up on Google.

Why does encrypted data often look like gibberish to unauthorized users?

The purpose of encryption is to make a message/data unreadable to someone who does not have the key to decrypt it, so it is highly likely that encrypted data will appear to be gibberish.
