AutoCAD Coordinate Entry Methods
Absolute Method: (X,Y)
Absolute Cartesian coordinates specify a point's exact distance from the origin point of
the coordinate system, which is represented as (0,0). The absolute X and Y coordinates
are signed numbers.
Relative Method: (@X,Y)
Relative Cartesian coordinates specify a point's exact distance from the last point that
was entered.
For example, typing @4,2 tells AutoCAD to locate a point that is four X units and two Y
units away from the last point entered. The X and Y relative coordinates are signed
numbers.
Direct distance entry is a shorthand relative coordinate entry method.
Polar Method: (@Distance
Polar coordinates specify a point's exact location by a distance and angle from the last
point that was entered. The distance is always positive and the angle is measured from the
positive X axis.
For example, typing @4<45 tells AutoCAD to locate a point that is four units away from
the current location and at an angle of 45 degrees from the horizontal.
ABSOLUTE COORDINATE
When dynamic input is on the cursor now can lock on to an exact coordinate in a drawing.
AutoCAD has a flexible subscription model, with new features available with each release and product update. If you have a perpetual license of AutoCAD 2016 or earlier, here’s what’s changed in AutoCAD 2017, AutoCAD 2018, AutoCAD 2019, AutoCAD 2020, AutoCAD 2021 and AutoCAD 2022.
In AutoCAD, UCS stands for User Coordinate System. It refers to a customizable coordinate system that allows users to define their own origin and orientation for drawing and modeling in 2D or 3D space. The UCS can be adjusted to fit specific design needs, facilitating more intuitive and accurate placement of objects within the drawing environment.

AutoCad is a software program for computer aided design and drafting. There are a number of different professions that use AutoCad, such as engineers and architects.
AutoCAD is a computer aided drafting software produced by Autodesk, Inc. It was the first CAD program to be available for use on personal computers.

If CAD design software is what you are looking for, AutoCAD has released many different versions of its Autodesk Design Suite, each tailored to specific industries and design paradigms. AutoCAD is still their flagship software product, with it too having many different varieties. They also sell to popular 3-D modeling products, namely 3ds Max and Maya, which are very well known in 3-D development circles.
One can download Autocad for free from a number of different locations. The official Autocad website has a free package or trial that one can download, which allows one to use it for a given time.
1) Go to your AutoCAD installation folder. (In "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English". If your AutoCAD version is 2012 and language is English of course. Previous or next versions may have different name but your target is AutoCAD folder. 2) Find "acad.exe" in AutoCAD folder. 3) Right click on it and follow the path "Send To - Desktop (Short Cut)" 4) You may rename it to "AutoCAD 2012" (or your version number). 5) That will work properly...
There are a number of different places that an AutoCAD 2004 can be purchased. These include Cadline, Cadpoint and Autodesk. For a bargain one could look on eBay.
In my opinion, and this is what we implemented in our company, an AutoCAD operator is a person who has a basic knowledge of how to operate the AutoCAD program. This person has done an entry level AutoCAD course and knows how to draw lines etc. in the CAD program. An AutoCAD draftsman is a person that also knows how to operate the AutoCAD program but is also proficient in composing technical drawings. (e.g. have a good understanding of scales, projections, sections, etc.) We based these different descriptions on pre AutoCAD times. Any person can draw lines or circles on paper with a pen, but you had to do technical drawing courses to become a draftsperson.
There are many websites where you can purchase this from cheaply. This is also available on Amazon for $30.89, books on this subject are also available from $19.00.
