No, computers do not have organic brains. Computers have 'artificial' brains, which means that it is electronic.
No! Computers can be taught behaviors and even how to acquire artificial-intelligence, but a human brain is able to assimilate information-knowledge even wisdom and that's why computers don't "has brain".
There is no evidence that they do so. What they can do is cause psychological problems. Some people kill themselves over what is said about them online. There are also problems related to isolation. When you stay alone on the computer for a long time, you may suffer some of the signs of addiction or develop trouble relating to others. Then there is the Propaganda online. There is a greater chance of brainwashing than brain damage.
I think that they affect our vission. <---- this is what was the answer. but i can tell you something better ;
Can you remember the last day when you haven't used your computer? Or the last week when you didn't touch the keyboard? I'm pretty sure you can't, as computers entered our lives fast and we are now used to use them every day.
All this sounds ok, but I'm guessing you don't know what health problems we are exposed to if we use computers too much. A few weeks ago I've came across a short list of health problems caused by a geek lifestyle, but I didn't had time to tell you about them, till today.
So, let's take them one by one:
· Sleep disorders - insomnia or often awakening during the nights. Cause is frequent use on PC or laptop right after you wake up. Resolution is pretty simple, don't lay in bad working, just do something that doesn't stimulate your brain too much.
· Headaches - often caused by improper environment surrounding computer use. Check your screen position, room lighting, chair, glasses.
· Back pain - caused by improper chair sitting position and prolonged absence of back muscles exercises
· Poor attention span - that's very interesting. We are used to do multitasking, working with different programs at the same time and being concentrated on several points on the screen, when feedback is expected. When we are facing only one task, we get bored faster, we can'tconcentrate enough on the singular task. Meetings, when you have to be focus on the discussion is a killer. There isn't too much you can do to correct this, as your brain takes longer to learn another work pattern.
As you can see, I've said "we" several times, as I consider myself an intensive computer user, with more than 10 hours a day of online time. Maybe future will solve those kind of health problems, but I'm not counting on it. I'm now trying to figure out a lifestyle that gets me enough time with my beloved computers without putting my life in danger. What do you think? Do you manage to escape the terrible force of online existence?
this isn't mine, i copied and pasted it from a website, i don't want to plagerize so I'm just saying this :P but I'm not sure who wrote it i just want you to know it wasn't me
Yes it does mess up your brain but in a specific way - our brains run with brain waves (delta waves, beta waves, alfa waves, etc...), these brain waves serve the purpose of thought process, emotions, and consciousness. These brain waves are electromagnetic energy that our bodies naturally produce, however if a person is exposed to a computer - (which includes: monitors, cell phones, I Pods, MP3s, or Tablets) The electromagnetic frequency will mess up a persons brain waves. However, our bodies have a natural shield around us that protects us from bad electromagnetic energy, so as long as we aren't over exposed to computers we should be fine.
Recent problems with computers!!
This is a warning to all people that use computers, since January 19th 2012 computers have been giving off a new more stronger electromagnetic frequencys, the reason for this frequency to increase is unknown. May people started to feel symptoms since January, mainly social anxiety... In Toronto, Ontario over 45,000 people have already reported social anxiety among other problems to doctors since the stronger computer frequency has been placed.
Some of the symptoms that people reported and that have been found with computers are: Social Anxiety, Trouble concentrating, Depression, Lack of emotion, Headaches - mainly in the frontal lobe of the brain, Confusion, Memory loss and short term memory loss, loss of consciousness, loss of logical thinking and loss of awareness.
Other symptoms that may be in part with computers are: Loss of identity- many people reported that they don't feel like themselves, many people claimed that they have lost themselves. - People are reporting that they are often getting confused and cannot get them selves back together. Children under the age of 15 have also reported to doctors that they are getting headaches straight away after looking at a monitor screen or being to close toward a computer.
Warning: - if you are using computers for long periods of time and you start feeling stressed or you feel like you are not yourself STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER IMEDIATLLY. It might also be a good idea to keep your children away from computers, a messed up brain at a young age is the worst thing that can happen.

Some differences between human beings and computers are:Brains are analogue; computers are digitalComputers access information in memory by polling a memory address, brains search memories using cuesThe brain is a massively parallel machine; computers are modular and serialProcessing speed is not fixed in the brain; there is no system clockShort-term memory is not like RAMComputers are hardware that runs software, there is no "mind software" running on brainsSynapses are far more complex (electrochemical) than computer logic gates (electrical)Computers use processors and memory for different functions, there is no such distinction in the brainComputers are designed, built and are of fixed architecture, the brain is a self-organizing systemComputers have no body, brains do
Neural Network: System that attempts to imitate the behavior of the human brain.-Straight outta Discovering Computers in 2009.
The human brain and (conventional) electronic computers work in vastly different ways. A computer follows steps, one at a time, but it can do each one incredibly quickly. The human brain by comparison is much slower, but it has roughly 500 billion neurons, and they're all doing their job at once. Modern computers can't match the sheer scale of the human brain.
It cause zero brain damage, if used in moderation...
An illness that has a psychological cause and does not involve brain damage is Psychosis.
it can cause brain damage
it can cause you to have heart faliure and you can go into cardiac arrest, which can give you brain damage and you can die from it
The difference is that one can have a brain injury and not have brain damage. Essentially, brain damage is caused by injury or trauma to the brain. However, not every injury to the brain will cause brain damage.
