Oh, dude, let me break it down for you. So, like, a service is basically a way for a company to offer assistance or help to its customers, you know, like customer service. And a channel is just the medium through which that service is provided, like phone, email, or carrier pigeon. So, in short, service is what you get, and channel is how you get it. Easy peasy!

In the context of business and marketing, a service refers to the intangible offering provided by a company to customers, such as consulting, maintenance, or training. On the other hand, a channel refers to the specific means or medium through which a company delivers its products or services to customers, such as online platforms, physical stores, or third-party distributors. Essentially, a service is what is being offered, while a channel is how it is being delivered to the end-user.

Channel is a path that can be physical or virtual. Service is a set of transparant (not visable) jobs that give a preset outcome. Example: Telephone service. You pick up the phone and dial a number. The phone on the other end will ring.

Example: Ask a waiter for coffee and donut. The waiter will do that task for you. You however will not know all the tasks he will have to perform.
