how much would a georgivs vi dei gratia rex 1948 quarter worth
Would guess the item would be worth a few quid if it was the genuine article! Guessing you have this item in your hands, would be interested to know how you acquired it! It is my goal (Hmm!) to eventually get a FA Cup winners medal and or a championship winners medal.
King George (Georgivs is a latinized version of the name)
The words Georgivs II Rex on a coin (or similar) would translate as George the 2nd King, or King George the 2nd if you prefer.
Not really because you can buy the items she gives you from the Shop Wizard but if you want to be the Illusens Glade Champion and get the medal then it probably would be worth it.
"GEORGIVS VI REX IMPERATOR" is Latin for "George the Sixth, King and Emperor". The coin is South African, but I would need to know the denomination and the condition to give an estimated value.IT'S IN EXCELLENT COND.,YEAR 1942,AND ON THE BACK OF THE COIN I SEE (1 D WITH A PERIOD UNDER THE D)
A coin marked with "GEORGIUS" or "GEORGIVS" could be any British, British Colonial or British Empire/Commonwealth coin issued during the respective reigns of any of the six King Georges. George (I)(1714-1727) George II (1727-1760) George III (1760-1820) George IV (1820-1830) George V (1910-1936) George VI (1936-1952)
The cost of a trip to Malaya would depend on how many people were going and how long they want to stay. You could compare different prices on compare websites and also there are many adverts in the newspapers.
Nominal British defenses extisted there. The real goal for even attacking Malaya was to get to Singapore. The british always though Singapore would be attackedd from the sea and they were prepared for such an attack. They thought to bring a subtantial army down through Malaya would be pretty much impossible. So the Japanese attacked from the morth where all the british fixed guns were pointing out to sea.
it depends what type of bronze medal, one from the Olympics, one from a famous person
In the US, it is the Medal of Honor. It is the highest award available.
My name is Harold Stilley and I have a 1928 world war copper medal. I would like to know the value of this medal.
