The fuel moves around the tank, it can all move away from the pick up when extreme driving.
An upgraded concentric fuel tank can cure this.

You might want to check your battery. We have a 2002 envoy and it would start then stall. The truck wouldn't even turn over at all. We changed the battery and it all work again and all the problems went away.
