In the truck!
under the hood hinge on passenger side in the corner going into the cab at an angle
in the dash but check the resistor 1st the blow e.z. it is in engin comp. passinger side on heater core lines it looks just like a water heater fuse
That job is known to be a scourge among mechanics. Pay someone to do it, trust me.
If you are saying the Blower Motor only works on high, then your problem is a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. Replace it.
1- Drain coolant. 2- remove heater hoses from core inlet and outlet pipes in engine compartment. 3-remove screws and heater core cover. ( right side lower passenger compartment ) 4- carefully lower core out of heater unit. This old of a truck it would be wise to replace both heater hoses. Use antifreeze as a lubricant to install heater hoses to new core inlets.
1990 ford truck no spark
under the glove box. on the heater assembaly there is a rectangle piece of plastic with 2 bolts and a 4 or 5 pin heavy gauge wire harness attached to it
depending on model of truck.

i am working on the same problem at my 230 ce 1990 right now (w124). the first thing you have to check is the blower motor, and when you have got that out of the car, you see a panel, straight trough that panel there is a resistor, if thats not burned, you can check any wires going in and away from the resistor. in my case it is the panel to the heater that is broken. Good luck! :) (my english is not the best because im Norwegian)
