Not like the old days. The bleeding is done automatically due to emission standards.
Fuel pressure in the cylinder head fuel galleries is controlled by a fuel pressure regulator. The fixed orifice is an air bleed. It is the highest point in the fuel system. It allows the air behind the fuel pressure regulator to be vented to the fuel tank rather than ingested in the fuel galleries. The fuel pressure regulator contains a spring-loaded poppet valve, which opens to allow excess fuel to return to the fuel-conditioning module as well.
It is probably not the fuel canister itself that is leaking.......on the back side of the canister ther is a small plastic drain valve.....this valve has an O-ring in it that dries up and fails causing the leak. the drain valve has a yellow valve control on it. It is a very cheap part and easy to fix.............Nick
Its easier to take front tires off . Ther is a bleeder on each of the front hubs and usually one and sometimes two bleeders on rear brake cylinder.
what motor do you have. Ther are a couple of schrader valves on all makes. some are on the ac and others are on the fuel lines The ac has 2 and they are on the lines for fill and drain the fule has i think just one and it would be on the fuel rail near the intake manifold. They look like bicycle valve stem
Ther is no PCV valve on a 06 silverado with a 4.3L engine
on top of the motor in the front there is a cover ,,its under that you can use a 1/2 inch rachet to remove the lid and ther you will see the filter. there is a lever on the side to drain the bowl
benzine is ther best
to my knowledge ther is no purge valve, but in reference to what .
ther always next to and wired in to the egr valve on intake manifold
If it is the 4.6 V8 then it is located on the top left side at ther rear of the motor behind the intake manifold and fuel injector assy. It is a dificult unit to remove on this motor. ....Good Luck Run1
Its below the air unit , remove filter air unit and ooops ther it is.
Ther is'nt one. It is manuel.
Ther is no egr valve on the 2.2 turbo engines. With FI and turbo, there was no need. Some of the earlier carb engines did have egr.
