Be careful using a handheld power drill with lug nuts. They don't turn easily, and the shock can transmitted to your hand. Especially if you put them on with a drill, when they bottom the drill can hurt you. Best to have a drill with a clutch on it, and to set it for light. But this wouldn't help you take them off.
You can get a lot of torque safely by using a large x=shape lug wrench.
Typically, removing lugnuts requires a torque of around 80-100 lbs-ft, which translates to approximately 80-100 psi when using a pneumatic wrench. It's important to follow manufacturer recommendations and guidelines to avoid over-tightening or damaging the lugnuts or studs.
