Yes, in the United Kingdom you do not need to have a licence or any knowledge of motorcycles to be a pillion rider provided the rider holds a full licence and is insured. A provisional licence holder can ride a motorcycle and take a pillion passenger provided that the pillion passenger holds a full motorcycle licence (he is then deemed to be instructing the rider).
yes just long as you have your cbt and it is restricted Yes even if it is not restricted you can just pass your full licence this also has lots of benefits e.g. you can carry a pillion(passenger) and have cheaper insurance.
Yes you can depending on when you passed your driving test
a learners licence is needed if you drive alone, you are only allowed to carry a passenger when you have a full motorbike licence
No, you can not carry a pillion if you do not have a full motorcycle or full moped licence. To obtain any full licence you must be at least 17 years old. You must then pass a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) course so that you can ride a 125cc motorcycle by yourself, but you must display L plates at all times, and you can not carry passengers, or use motorways. You will then need to pass a motorcycle theory test, followed by a practical test, which if under 21 years old, must be taken on a 125cc bike, capable of at least 62mph (100kmph). If you pass both of these test you will receive a full motorcycle licence which will allow you to ride on motorways and carry a pillion passenger. For the first 2 years of having this licence you can not ride a bike with a power output of more than 25Kw (33bhp) (a modern 400cc bike is about this power, but some smaller bikes have this power or more). You can get a larger more power full bike but it must restricted to 33bhp, until you have had the licence for 2 years, from the date you passed the test. This only applies to int the United Kingdom, if you live outside the UK different laws will apply.
In the UK you do not have to wait or be 18, you need to have a full licence or have someone with you with a full licence
if you have a full UK driving licence you do not need to have another licence for a moped it ciovers both and you do not need to have L learner plates on either so you can carry a passenger ....... hope this helped
England does not impose an age limit for riding pillion on a motorcycle so long as the driver holds a full driving licence for two years.
If you have obtained a provisional licence, and are insured to drive a car, whilst accompanied by a passenger who has a full licence and passed their test at least 3 years ago, 17.
You have to be at least 16 to get a learner's licence. After at least 360 days, you can take a roadtest to get a novice licence. Two years after that, you can take another road test to get the full class 5 licence. With a learner's licence, one person with a driver's licence, who is at least 25 years old, has to be in the vehicle with you when you drive. You can also only have one additional passenger. With a novice licence, you can drive on your own, but can only have one passenger unless the passengers are members of your immediate family or if you have someone with a driver's licence, who is at least 25 years old with you.
if you are a learner driver u need a person with a full licence sitting in the passenger seat and u need to be insured
I think they can, if they have guide to help them while they drive. Other than that, no. You should always wait until you're very comfortable with driving, and take comments from other people, too, to see how you're doing. In the UK, a learner must have a passenger (i.e. not drive alone), and that passenger must be over 21 years and have held a full driving licence for 3 years or more.
