It doesn't necessarily disqualify you, but what matters more is the time which has passed since your conviction. It can be a monkey on your back for up to ten years, but that's a bit uncommon. However, within three years of your DUI conviction, you're pretty much untouchable - not just to trucking companies, but for any job which entails operating a motor vehicle. The cost to insure you goes through the roof. But you really need five years between your conviction and the time you apply for a job. Those first five years are the most difficult, but you'll be taken a bit more seriously after that when you apply for a driving job.

Can you get a CDL in the state of Pennsylvania if you have two DUI's?

I am from Philadelphia and was a commercial truck driver for over 18 years. If you have 2 DUI's you CAN'T ever get a CDL! It is very hard to get a CDL if you have one DUI. With the economy still in a recession with high unemployment, it is not easy to get a job in trucking. There are more drivers than freight nationwide. If your MVR is not clean, you will be at a strong disadvantage. The trucking companies are cherry picking anybody they want now-they are in the driver's seat!

In Florida even a first time DUI conviction can cause the driver to be ordered to attend DUI school.?

Yes, in Florida, a first-time DUI conviction can result in the court ordering the driver to attend DUI school. Completion of DUI school is often a requirement for reinstating a driver's license after a DUI conviction.

Could one go to DUI school if they only had their second DUI?

IT is mandatory to attend DUI school any time you receive a DUI. If you receive a second DUI you will most likely have other requirements to complete which will be set by the court. Even if you attend DUI school you still run the risk of losing your driver's license.

After a DUI how long does a restricted drivers license apply in Virginia?

A DUI leads to an immediate 7-day driver's license suspension in Virginia. There's an additional one-year driver's license suspension if one refuses to give a breath or blood test made mandatory on him/her. Its better to hire a professional in such circumstances. I'll chose 1800 DUI Laws for the job.

What is MAIN difference between the rights of juveniles arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) who posses a Georgia Driver's License and juveniles arrested for DUI who do NOT posses a Georgia?

The main difference is that juveniles arrested for DUI who possess a Georgia Driver's License are subject to stricter penalties, such as license suspension or revocation. On the other hand, juveniles arrested for DUI who do not possess a Georgia Driver's License may face legal consequences but are not at risk of losing their license since they do not have one.
