This particular Chevrolet V8 Engine produces 245 HP @ 4400 RPM and produces 345 of Torque @ 3200 RPM although I'm not sure Chevrolet produced a TBI L98 V8, are you sure its not a TPI instead? TBI's are carbureted engines, while TPI is a more modern fuel injection system used in most late 80's and early 90's cars and even used today. Anyways hope the info was helpful, thirdgen.org can provide you with more answers if you have a Firebird or Camaro 82' - 92' ;)
What model year? 1995
about 175 to 200 horse about 175 to 200 horse
Probably not. This is a very common GM gasoline engine. If it were diesel, it would say diesel somewhere. The diesel engines are 7.3 liters
According to the 1998 Ford Explorer Owner Guide : For the 5.0 liter / 302 cubic inch V8 engine : ( 215 horsepower at 4200 RPM and 288 lb-ft torque at 3300 RPM )
That looks like the specifications of a GM or Dodge automobile engine; 5.7 liters displacement, V-shaped 8-cylinder design (two banks of 4 cylinders, angled apart in a V shape). SFI is sequential fuel injection, rather than using a carburetor. OHV = OverHead Valves, and there are 16 of them.
The Ford 7.5 liter ( 460 cubic inch ) V8 engine is a gas engine
Can you be more specific? Is it a V6 or V8? TPI or TBI?
Fist yourself
5.0 L - OHV - high output V8
yes it came with a 305 tbi or a 3.1 v6
TBI usually stands for throttle body injection, which your engine does NOT have, are you sure it's not TPI, tuned port injection?
There were ( 5 ) engines offered in the 1997 Ford F-250 4.6 L ( 281 cubic inch ) SOHC - V8 5.4 L ( 330 cubic inch ) SOHC - V8 5.8 L ( 351 cubic inch ) OHV - V8 7.5 L ( 460 cubic inch ) OHV - V8 7.3 L (446 cubic inch ) DIESEL - V8
