Hi, Royal Doulton only put out 2 different kinds of the; Juliet, China.
The first set was manufatured between 1982 thru 1998. The description is as: The Romance Collection, w/pink & yellow roses it is now discontinued. The pattern # H5077. Also there is the, Platinum Trim style, pattern # H5162 also discountined as of 1999. Some mistake the bead & butter plate as a desart plate which is 6 1/2" in size, but there is a handled cake plate that is 10 3/4", would this be the plate you've asked about? The 6 1/2" plate('s) (both styles) value at .99ec, were as the 10 3/4" handled cake plate values at .99ec.
Hope that helps....

No, plates can come in various sizes depending on their intended use. Common sizes for dinner plates range from about 9 to 12 inches in diameter, while salad plates are typically smaller, around 7 to 9 inches. Specialty plates like dessert plates or appetizer plates can also vary in size.

In a formally set table, if the dessert fork is placed at the time of the original setting it is placed horizontally, above the dinner plate tines pointing to the right. (the dessert spoon sits above it with the bowl pointing left) If the table setting is less formal the dessert fork comes to the table with the dessert. In a buffet style setting the forks are set on the table near the napkins and dessert plates.

I believe that you are referring to the 1876 Cape Cod Collection that Avon produced some years ago. This was a collection that consisted of wine goblets, mugs, dinner plates, dessert plates, candleholders, and other pieces. It was made of early American pressed glass also known as "Sandwich Glass." It was a ruby red color. I hope that this answers your question.
