not much... about 2$
Helvetia coins from 1850 can each be worth about $4 in good condition. Coins in excellent condition can get a seller about $100, so two coins can get double these amounts if they are both in the same condition.
Hello, I have a 1908 2 Fr. Helvetia coin. I have also searched, and searched the web and have not found another one like it. If you find any information on it I would love to hear about it please. There has to be more of these coins out there......right?? Thanks & good luck!! -Meggan email: meggan@virtulove.com
value depends on condiion. Ex to new $1200-1500 (a guess)
$2-$3 exceptional coins can be worth up to $25
5 fr. 1941 exists with French text, and Dutch (Flamish) text. Of both types over 40 million coins were struck, so the value is about 2 dollars... There is an exception for the year 1945 with Dutch legend, which is worth between 80 and 100 dollars!
In mint condition, this is worth approximately around 5 dollars. It is not accepted for currency currently so it is not worth its face value.
You are referring to a 1969 Half Franc coin from Switzerland ("Helvetia" is the Latin name for the country). Switzerland does not have "cents" and "dollars" - rather, there are 100 Rappen to the Franc. Also there have not been any 1/2 Rappen coins produced in at least a century. The exchange rate for Swiss Francs is, as of today (January 8, 2010) SF1.00=US$0.96, so the coin has an exchange rate of about 48 US cents. Numismatically, the coin only has additional value if it is in Uncirculated condition, in which case it is worth perhaps US$2 or US$3.
August 2, 2009 The 1968-S proof quarter has a value from $6 to $40 depending upon the actual condition of the coin.
You have something made or altered by a novelty company. The last silver certificates in the $2 denomination were series 1899, there were no series 1968 $2 bills, and JFK's protrait was never on a $2 bill.
