Please read the coin more carefully. Your original question was correct, the word is PEACE. You didn't state its denomination but the only coin with that word on it is a $1 silver coin. At the current price of silver bullion it's worth about $14 retail, regardless of mint mark.
Circulated 1922's are only valued at $16.00-$20.00, so $18.00 maybe?

The US has never had a "B" mint mark. Your coin may have been altered by someone, or you may be seeing a worn "D" or "S" mint mark.
