What I enjoy doing when i am idle is I LOVE hanging out with friends so I go and ask them to go to the movies or that mall or something like that. Or if they are busy I start to write a book, it could be a lousy one but its fun and takes up at least half an hour.
If sitting idle at home and wanting to do something else, there are plenty of ways to entertain yourself. Watching TV or DVDs (naturally included). reading, calling or texting friends and family, writing e-mail or paper letters (The recipients will be thrilled.), cooking, exercising, listening to or performing music, engaging in whatever hobby you have or might want to have, writing short stories, articles, or poetry, sorting out a closet or drawer that you've been meaning to but haven't yet, making a list of things you'd like to do, improvements you'd like to make in yourself or home, or even a list of ideas on how to save the world! That's only a start and maybe while you're sitting idle, you can come up with even more possibilities!
