I just purchased one at a yard-sale for $35. It works perfectly. I don't know if this was a good deal or not, but it was worth it to me. It's a pretty cool little machine. I've not had much experience with home sewing machines, but I have worked in sewing plants on industrial machines for over 15 yrs. I'm not used to bells and whistles, just tough, rugged,and dependable.
