The Roman soldiers had three basic types of clothing. The Fatigue dress was a simple work tunic. The Parade dress was the formal uniform which consisted of the military tunic, the military belt and the "sagum" or military cloak. The Battle dress consisted of the military tunic and belt, body armor either of chain mail or segmented, helmet and military boot. His sword was worn on the right side, his knife on the left. He carried his shield and javelins. Many soldiers also added a neck scarf to prevent the armor from rubbing and chaffing the neck. The Roman soldiers had three basic types of clothing. Belt Loops.
Sounds a lot like the uniform of the Buckingham Palace guard's uniform, but the belt is white with a gold buckle. See the image at the link below.
They don't all have seven loops. I have jeans and slacks with 5 loops and also 7 loops. I also have slacks with no belt loops. However, I prefer pants with 7 belt loops because they stay up better, especially if you have anything heavy in your pockets or on your belt.
The Marine Corps dress blue belt is typically worn with the Dress Blue Alpha and Dress Blue Bravo uniform. It is worn around the waist to secure the jacket and maintain a neat appearance. The belt is not worn with other Marine Corps uniforms.
Karate uniforms are almost all white or black. Some, however, can be purchased in red or other exotic colors. The uniform itself is a loose fitting set of both top and bottom. The bottom has a series of belt loops for one's karate belt.
Levi Strauss invented belt loops. He made this invention in the year of 1933. It was considered to be a turn of the century invention.
1922 Levi Strauss invented belt loops. Belt loops are added to the overalls (blue jeans), but the suspender buttons are still retained. The cinch is also still used on the pants, but some men cut if off in order to wear the overalls with a belt.Again, the addition of belt loops was in response to changes in men's fashions and our understanding of what consumers wanted.
Buckling a belt with 2 loops is actually quite simple. Just run the open end through the 2 loops and bring it back around through the second loop.
It depends on the ballet school, although the most common uniform is a shirt, dance belt, and tights.
