First, locate the crown knob located inside the ring that attaches the watch to a chain. Be sure the crown knob is depressed (pulling the crown outward engages the gears which set the hands). Then, gently rotate the crown clockwise by rolling it between your thumb and forefinger. If you prefer, you may roll it in both directions, but be advised that you will double the wear on the crown mechanism.
Don't over-wind your watch. Give it five to eight twists twice a day. After a while, you'll develop a sense of when the spring is starting to accumulate tension, but don't wind it until it's fully tight or it will jam and you'll need a jeweler to release it. Better to just leave it run if you're unsure how tightly wound it is. If you have a skeleton Colibri watch, you can observe the mainspring winding from the outside of the barrel onto the center (driving) pin. Winding your watch less tight but more often decreases the pressure on the gears, increasing their accuracy and lifespan. Moreover, it's an enjoyable moment, a pause that reminds us of the passage of time and the beauty and ingenuity of the timepiece. If you choose a time each day when you're near a reference clock, you can make it a daily or twice-daily ritual that will ensure your timepiece is running properly, adequately powered, and true to the hour.
Enjoy your watch!

What is the value of a fahys coin no 1 pocket watch
As far as pocket watches go, there should be a small knob at the top of the watch, if you twist it it will wind the watch, if you pull it out and twist you can use it to set the clock. But, that is going by a general pocket watch design.
To change the battery in a Colibri quartz pocket watch, you will need to carefully open the back case using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the old battery, and then replace it with a new one of the same size and type. Once the new battery is in place, securely close the back case. It may be helpful to refer to the watch's user manual or seek assistance from a professional watchmaker if needed.

Sory no value at all...
Antique pocket watches generally have one of two ways to be wound: 1. A winding stem, similar to a windup wrist watch; 2. A winding key, like older wind up toys.
