The majority of British silver Trade Dollars were minted in Bombay. From 1895 to 1902, Trade Dollars were minted in Calcutta as well.

Due to minting issues, the mintmarks (B) and (C) do not appear on many of the 1895 to 1900 coins.

The "B" mintmark appears on the centre prong of Britannias trident.

The "C" mintmark appears on the ground between Britannias left foot and the bottom of her shield.
