The best way to get rid of a habit is by relating it to something you hate. I used to be addicted to eating junk food and I hated fish. So every time I ate something unhealthy I would have to take a bite of fish. Eventually I found eating junk food wasn't worth it anymore. Also, junk food reminded me of eating fish, which I hated.
