Looper is a teenage boy who is described as "odd looking" with a long neck and large teeth. He is also Lizzie's boyfriend in the book. When Looper drew his job randomly, he became the one who ran the shop that sold art supplies. He steals items from the storerooms, some of which he sells in his shop on Night Street. Looper never gets out of Ember.
Lizzie's boyfriend in the book "The City of Ember" is named Doon Harrow. He is one of the main characters in the story, along with Lina Mayfleet.
In "City of Ember," Doon's discovery of the store room beneath the city relates to the concept of sustainability and preservation of resources, which is also a central theme in "Looper." Both stories emphasize the importance of responsible resource management and the consequences of neglecting it, highlighting the impact it can have on society's survival and well-being.
