If there is any, it is gobbled up by impossibilities ( Life arising from non-life), a criminal act, an abduction- not merely a (Blind date) and someone in captivity being held against their will- that Love could survive- indeed thrive in this background is a testimony to the (human spirit) for goodness, but it is in such a fantasy-ridden background the morality is muddled and indeed nebulous- the Beast character certainly does wrong- abducting the female character and possibly murdering her father years earlier. There have been film-noir movies on similar themes- a girl falls in love with a man who killed her relative in the war- but this is intended for adults, Beauty and the Beast, is not. I don"t like it, No Grok.
