In chapter 2 of "The Cow Called Boy," the protagonist George embraces the challenge of taking care of Boy, a mischievous cow that he won in a raffle. Despite initial difficulties and disagreements with his family, George develops a bond with Boy and learns valuable lessons about responsibility and hard work. The chapter explores the growing relationship between George and the unique cow named Boy.
In chapter 1, It's Josh's first Day back to school but he's the only one late. In this chapter the three characters, Josh, Boy and Mr. Kelly are introduced. Further along this chapter, we find out that Boy keeps following Josh to school and because Josh didn't want to be later than he already was, he decided to bring his bulking to school with him.
In Chapter 7 of "A Cow Called Boy", the major conflict revolves around the young protagonist, Boy's, struggle to raise a cow named Blossom while dealing with challenges posed by his strict father who disapproves of the cow. Boy must find a way to care for Blossom without his father finding out.
In chapter four Josh was sent home with a letter for his mother to inform her of what the troubles her son had caused in school. Later in the chapter when Josh's mother find out what had happened and the suggestions that she were given she decided to put Boy up for sale.
