According to Jamison, Annabella died in her sleep. This is very questionable and the reader infers that instead she was murdered. It is easy to say this because Annabella was an isolated person who never left her house and never talked to anyone but Kira. How would anyone know she had died but Kira (who hadn't visited on the days Annabella supposevly died)?
In Gathering Blue chapter 7, Annabella helps Kira by teaching her about dyeing and weaving techniques. She shares her knowledge and skills with Kira, enabling her to become more proficient in her work on the Singer's robe. Annabella also offers emotional support and guidance to Kira during this time of uncertainty and growth.
