Tungsten filament bulbs are preferred in Stefan's law experiments because they can reach high temperatures without melting, allowing for accurate measurements of the bulbβs temperature. The filament emits a continuous spectrum of light, which is essential for accurately measuring the radiation emitted by a blackbody. Additionally, tungsten has a high melting point, making it suitable for use in high-temperature environments during the experiment.
