People say that it is tougher on stains than normal soda, as the crystals soak up more of the spillage. Using soda crystals means that you are far more likely to be left with no stains atall than if you use normal cleaning products, even though most of them are rated as the 'best-selling' products and 'fantastic for all uses'. Normal soda is also known as just basic/normal cleaning spray and although it may smell or look good, it doesn't do the job aswell, so don't be fooled!

Washing soda is dry because it is a dehydrated form of sodium carbonate, which means that it contains very little moisture. It is typically manufactured by heating baking soda to remove the water content, resulting in a dry powder that is effective for cleaning and laundry use.
