Paper money is made from a combination of cotton and linen fibers, which our bodies can't break down effectively. The chemicals used in producing money can also be harmful if consumed, potentially causing health issues. Additionally, the paper material of money can form clumps in the digestive tract, leading to blockages and other complications.
It is not recommended to remove stains from paper money as this can damage the currency and may be considered illegal. If money is stained or damaged, it is best to exchange it for new bills at a bank or financial institution.
It typically takes around 3-4 months for paper money to decompose. However, factors such as environmental conditions can influence the rate of decomposition.
Paper money is colored to make it difficult to counterfeit. The use of intricate designs, watermarks, and color-shifting inks makes it easier for people to verify the authenticity of the currency. Additionally, the use of different colors for varying denominations aids in quick identification and reduces the risk of confusion.
Some countries use phosphorus as a security feature in paper money. This element can be detected by specialized machines, helping to verify the authenticity of the currency notes.
Paper money is made of a specific blend of cotton and linen fibers that provide durability and security features. Combining these materials allows for the creation of currency that is difficult to counterfeit and can withstand regular handling in circulation. Additionally, paper money is lighter and more convenient than metal coins for everyday transactions.

Okay, money is not, in any real sense, "made of paper". Sure, it's printed on paper (though calling the substance money is printed on "paper" is a bit misleading, because there's actually a large amount of cotton present in that "paper". But, what makes money money is the fact that the government proclaims it to be "legal tender". So, in the only sense that matters, money is made out of government proclamation, not paper. Moreover, trees do not produce paper directly. They produce wood. Humans produce paper by processing the wood (and, in the case of the paper used to print money, cotton as well). And humans make money by printing numbers, words, and the pictures of dead Presidents on the paper. The biological processes going on inside a tree, complex as they are, cannot duplicate these human processes. So, "money", even if it was nothing more than the paper and ink that went into physically producing the bills, still could not grow on trees.
