@GarlandSchimmel because if you take an object that is atleast 1kg, stack another one on top thats 1kg then you would have about 2kg and compare it to a normal sized water bottle

The mass of a bottle of mineral water can vary depending on the size and amount of water it contains. On average, a standard 16.9 oz (500 ml) bottle of mineral water weighs around 500 grams (1.1 pounds).

That depends on the amount of water and what type of bottle it was in. Although it would be the weight of the bottle + the weight of water.

The mass will depend upon the size of the water bottle. The density of water is 1, so you use the equation density=mass/volume.

If a bottle of water weighs 595 g to the nearest g what weight is the bottle?

Assuming that it is a half litre bottle of water, the water would have a mass of 500g so the bottle would have a mass of 95g. However it might be a pint bottle of water, in which case the water would have a mass of 568g, leaving the bottle with a mass of 27g.

What is the mass of an empty 16 oz water bottle?

How do you find volume of a bottle when its mass is given it's weight with the water is given and the waters density is given?

To find the volume of the bottle, you need to subtract the weight of the water from the total weight of the bottle and water. Then, divide this difference by the density of water to find the volume displaced by the water and consequently the volume of the bottle.

Why can objects float?

Objects float if they displace more than their own mass. This means that if when they are put into a liquid the mass (weight) of the volume of the liquid that "has to get out of the way" is greater than the mass of the object, it will float. An empty glass bottle floats in water because the bottle is filled with air, yet the bottle's shape keeps water out and the mass of the volume of the displaced water exactly equals the mass of the bottle (and the air inside).

This is expressed as the weight of a mineral compared with the weight of an equal volume of water?

This is the specific gravity of the mineral. It's a comparison of how much mass a given volume of it has compared to the mass of an equal volume of water.

What minerals are present in mineral water?

Hundreds types of mineral water are known, each with his specific composition. See the label on the bottle or see a short list at the link below.

Is an empty water bottle matter?
