there isn't a difference in the gold. The only reason it is called gold dust is because gold dust is very small flakes of gold often found while gold panning. If you get enough gold dust you can have it melted down into a nice bigger nugget. :)

Gold dust is fine particles of gold. gold nuggets are naturally occurring pieces of concentrated gold.
