This is really a matter of preferance whether a metal desk or a wood office desk is better. Metal might dent a little more eaisly than wood dseks, but it is a personal prefernace.
I would prefer to have a wooden desk over a metal desk because it is more appealing to the eye and would seem like a nicer piece of furniture for a home. Now if you are trying to furnish an office, I would go with a metal desk because they are much more durable sturdy.
