A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture in which you can tell is made up of different parts. So basically if you can see with your eye that the mixture has different components to it, then it is heterogeneous.
Examples include:
Chocolate chip cookie
Italian salad dressing
Blood (you can see the parts microscopically so it is heterogeneous)
Orange Juice with pulp
Homogeneous is the opposite. You can't tell the substance is a mixture by looking at it:
Saltwater
Brass
A mixture in science is called a heterogeneous mixture when its components are not uniformly distributed.
In a heterogeneous mixture components are not thoroughly mixed and the mixture properties have a gradient, components are visicle, many phases exist, the material is not uniform. Examples: a rock, a soup, soil, dirty water, wastes, non miscibles liquids etc.
Homogeneous mixture is a mixture that you cannot identify any substances because it's components is uniform while heterogeneous mixture is a mixture that you can identify the substances because it's components is not uniform and it varies.
A heterogeneous mixture with large and easily visible particles that can be separated by physical means is called a suspension. Examples include muddy water or a mixture of sand and water.
A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture where the components are not evenly distributed. This means that you can see differences in the composition of the mixture, such as distinct layers or clumps of different materials. Examples include a salad with vegetables and dressing, or a bowl of cereal with fruit.
A mixture in science is called a heterogeneous mixture when its components are not uniformly distributed.
A mixture is composed of substances that are not chemically combined, and which do not have a definite composition. A homogeneous mixture is uniform throughout. A solution is a homogeneous mixture. A heterogeneous mixture is not uniform throughout. Examples of a heterogeneous mixture are granite or beef stew.

they are two examples of a heterogeneous mixture.
Paint is a homogeneous mixture because it has the same uniform appearance. Heterogeneous mixtures are different because there are different visibly differences in the mixture. Examples of heterogeneous mixtures are a bowl of raisin bran and mineral rock.
hetergeneous
A flower is a heterogeneous mixture.
A salad with lettuce, tomatoes, and carrots is an example of a mixture. It is classified as heterogeneous because you can easily see and distinguish the different components.
An example of a heterogeneous mixture would be water and flour.Muddy water, milk, paint: you can't see through!Saltwater and soda. Basically anything that you cannot see the individual components of the mixtureA heterogeneous mixture is a mixture that can be separated physically.
