It depends on how the aluminum is formed and presented. Aluminum is affected by harmonics when used on airplanes, for instance. Depending on how many hours the airplane is flown in the air, "metal fatigue" can and does occur on some models, like the Comette Commercial Airliners back in the early 1950's. They'd be flying long and suddenly, part of the fuselage or wing would fracture and tear off of the airplane. This caused ALL of the Comettes to be grounded and they discovered that the shape of the airplane had something to do with the metal fatigue. To answer the question, is there is no ONE length of time that aluminum will disintegrate. It depends on HOW you form in and what it's used in or on.
