Hydrogen is separated from water via electrolysis, which requires more energy than you'll ever get from burning the hydrogen. There's only one good reason to recover hydrogen via electrolysis, and that's if you're a jeweler. Jewelers' torches all burn hydrogen and oxygen which they get through electrolysis of water, because it saves them from having to handle and store welding gases. With an electrolyzer, they can create their gases when they need them, and only as much as they need.

Hydrogen can be separated from water vapor through a process called electrolysis, which involves passing an electric current through water to split it into hydrogen and oxygen gases. Another method is through steam reforming, where water vapor reacts with a carbon-based material at high temperatures to produce hydrogen gas.

When hydrogen burns, water vapor (H2O) is produced as a byproduct.

What is vapour?

a pure gas of oxygen and hydrogen The water cycle is driven by the Sun's energy. When water evaporates, it turns into the invisible gas called water vapour.

Can you name a fuel which burns without giving water vapour?

Hydrogen is a fuel that burns without producing water vapor. When hydrogen burns, it combines with oxygen to produce only heat and water as the byproduct.

Water Vapour because it is made up of the Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms.

How hydrogen detected in the carbon and hydrogen test?

In a carbon and hydrogen test, hydrogen is typically detected by burning the sample in a stream of oxygen to convert all the hydrogen in the sample to water. The water formed can then be collected and measured to determine the amount of hydrogen present in the sample.

What is produced directly from the splitting of water?

Splitting water results in oxygen and hydrogen. The water element is separated into two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

Can water be separated into hydrogen and oxygen by boil physical change or chemical change?

Water can be separated into hydrogen and oxygen through a chemical change called electrolysis, which uses an electric current to break apart the water molecules. Boiling water is a physical change that only changes the state of the water from liquid to gas, but it does not separate the water into its component elements.
