To remove ink from clothing, apply rubbing alcohol or a mixture of equal parts ammonia and water to the stained area, then blot with a clean cloth. For surfaces like paper or leather, use a commercial ink remover or a paste of baking soda and water. Always test the removal method on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't damage the material.
