How they are different evaporation and sublimation?

evaporation is water to gas and sublimaion is water to a solid

How are evaporation and and sublimation similar?

evaporation is when a liquid turns into a gas. sublimation is when a solid directly turns into a gas.

How does evaporation and sublimation are alike and how are they different?

Evaporation is the transformation of a liquid in a gas.Sublimation is the transformation of a solid in a gas directly. Both phenomenon lead to gases.

Is evaporation point and sublimation point the same?

no

Which of these phase changes does not involve changing a liquid into a gas sublimation or vaporization or evaporation or boiling?

sublimation

What are the different changes?

Sublimation, boiling, condensation, melting and freezing. One might include evaporation, though that does not happen at a particular temperature.

Does the energy in sunlight cause evaporation precipitation and sublimation?

Yes.

What are the phase changes?

Melting, Freezing, Condensation, Evaporation, and Sublimation.

A solid becoming a gas is known as?

Vaporization.

How are evaporation and condesation the same how are they different?

they are same because they are part of the water cycle and they are different because evaporation is the process by which water changing to gas but condensation is the process by which gas changing into water.

How do you compare and contrast evaporation and sublimation?

Evaporation is changing of liquid state into gaseous state. Sublimation is changing of solid state into gaseous state.

What term is given to a liquid changing to a gas?

The term for a liquid changing to a gas is called "vaporization" or "evaporation."
