It depends on what you do with it. It could not make you ill in the disease-related sense. It would not harm your stomach if you ingested it as your stomach is already full of hydrochloric acid so that you can digest your food. However, if you were to drink it, it would probably strip the skin from your throat and mouth.It also would depend on the pH ( acidity) of the acid.
