the amount of pictures your ipod touch can take all depends on how much memory you have left on your ipod. usually the pictures sound be unlimited but if you have dan out of space on your ipod you will no longer be able to take pictures. to fix this you can either delete some remaining pictures, or songs, videos, usually deleting apps creates much more space for pictures. It may also be that your album is full, to fix this just delete some pictures from the album, create a new album, or move your pictures into different albums to create space.
They have a new thing. If you are posting pictures that aren't yours, they will delete them, and possible even your account. SO DON'T DO THAT! However, if they are your pictures, and are still getting deleted, I wouldn't know why they would do that. It may be a bug or glitch. Try contacting them, and ask. They may be able to help.
Drag from your pictures folder and drop onto the external drive. If you formatted the external drive on Windows you probably won't be able to do this because Windows uses a different file system than Mac OS X.
When you post your picture, you can save it clicking on "Share>Download" in the Options icon. Then if you want you can delete the post. Is the only way I've been able to do it by the moment, sorry.
