600-280=320, 320/600=.5333, .5333x100%=53.33% Answer: 53.33%

30% off of 280= 30% discount applied to 280= 280 - (30% * 280)= 280 - (0.30 * 280)= 280 - 84= 196
According to http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaC200Port and http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200Port every Sansa in the e 200 and s 200 line works except those that are Rhapsody or have firmware version 2. So as long as it's not Rhapsody I think your fine, because I think you may be able to download downgrade firmware. You might have to call Sansa's customer service line though. Just say you liked the old firmware on your friends better or something. It looks like Nextag has some good deals. Here's the website, you may want to try it: http://www.nextag.com/Sandisk-Sansa-e280-8GB-536768677/prices-html Good luck and congrats on realizing how much better alternative firmware is.
