A 17 ft citation travel trailer weighs 3500 lbs, and cost $3500 can.

2500 lbs no motor
Well, a steel trailer for a 17' boat will clock in at 500 lbs. An aluminum would probably come in around 300 lbs. The hull will definately be over 1000 lbs, and possibly up to 2000lbs. If it is a simple bowrider, I would say a good estimate WITHOUT a motor would be between 1500 and 1800 lbs. Most boats of this size use 85-120hp motors, which are normally around 300-400 lbs. I would say a good estimate will be between 2000 and 2500 lbs.
