What is the weight of a 16 ft Century Resorter ski boat? this is a wood boat
598 pounds
i have an 8 ft aluminum Jon boat and the weight limit is 350 lbs for all your gear and you.
What is the weight and dimentions of a 26 ft. Boat
Yes. I had a 1979 16 ft. Cherokee. Riveted Aluminum, deep V. Great boat. Wish I still had it.
My 16' fiberglass runabout (Larson Flyer 15' 11") is listed with a weight of 1080 lbs. The 110 HP outboard on it adds a listed 320 lbs to that. I always thought it to be heavier than the weight of a like aluminum runabout. In checking specs on line I find that all aluminum runabouts of this size that I could find listed had a weight of about 400 - 700 lbs more than the weight of my fiberglass boat. All of these weights are finished boats that is ready for the water. Fuel, people, extra gear and equipment weight is not included.
Speed is dependant on a number of factors. Most importantly the size, type and weight of the boat that it is on and the number of people on board. A 50 HP outboard will push a small aluminum fishing boat a lot fast than it will a 20 ft fiberglass boat. I have a 50 HP 2 stroke that will push a 16 foot aluminum boat 35 MPH.
My 15 ft. aluminum v-hull does 22 mph with a light load in it. More weight = less speed.
200
1980 campion 18 ft
about 400 pounds I just scrapped out an 18 foot sweetwater/godfrey pontoon boat. got 390 pounds of aluminum, at $0.40/pound yielded $156. 200 pounds was in the railings and deck braces, 190 in the actual pontoons. after disassembling, all most of the weight of the boat is in the plywood deck, the rest in the seats/upholstery
700 lbs
