∙ 12y agoit's probabally for 3 gallons of gas 8 oz of 2 cycle oil. I've had a few 70's engines and that was hte ratio for all of them.

All Chrysler motors built after 1969 use a 50:1 mixture

the ratio should be aproximately 16 to 1. so for every 6 gallons of gas you should use 8 ounces of oil
