Well the average amount of water you should have in a day is i think 8 cups which is 64 oz. but do not drink all 8 cups at once drink it throughout the day. If you drink large sum of water at once your stomach could overflow and the water could reach to your brain.... many people have died from water drinking contests by comsuming too much water too fast. What i recomend is get one of those big water battles that are blastic, they have twist off tops and they usually hold about 4 cups of water, so just drink two throughout the day. You can get the water bottle at many places but check the sporting goods place. They usually have them.
