budgies are alot cheaper. i got my budgie hand reared for $16
cockatiels can cost up to $70 dollars!
however budgies have many more colour ranges
but cockatiels will probably talk more.
if you get a budgie get a male because a female wont be as friendly and most probably wont talk!
if you had unlimmited money i would get a cockatiel
From my past experience, I believe that Cockatiels are better than Parakeets. I've owned both. First, I had three Parakeets. Then I gave away my Parakeets and got a Cockatiel.
Yes, Parakeets are cute and all -- but if your looking for a bird to play with (Come sit on your hand, talk, ect.), then you should get a Cockatiel. If you try, I guess you can train your Parakeet to be a playful bird. Cockatiels are more fun and easier to train though. Parakeets are more of a display bird. Cockatiels can be both however. If you choose to train your Cockatiel, it can easily learn to talk, whistle, play, do tricks, ect.
So, if you are planning to get a playful bird, get a (Male) Cockatiel. Though, if you want a display bird, you can choose which to get. They can both work. In conclusion, Parakeets are NOTbetter than Cockatiels. Cockatiels are better than Parakeets.
Well lets see.... Canarys you cannot train to sit nicely on your shoulder as you walk about the house like parakeets will do. Canarys will sing virtually the same songs and if your not an early riser, most likely wake you up in the morning. You will most likely not be able to hold Canarys much either. Parakeets on the other hand can be trained extremely well. Parakeets will also LOVE people (as long as their owners spend time with them and also as long as you don't buy multiple keets together because they will just get attached to each other and always dislike people). Parakeets can learn thousands of sounds and will speak words and maybe even sentences. However, I will mention this talkativeness tends to happen more with male keets than female. Also parakeets can get extremely comfortable with people and children ( as long as the children are respectful ie. don't pull feathers and grab!). The more you spend time with your keet the more you will notice their unique personalities. I would go with a keet over a canary any day!!
Talk about your serious, Erection
No! It's a distant relative!
Get the parakeet if you can keep up with it
sometimes
no
The decision on whether to get another parakeet or not is totally up to the owner, but be warned that once the parakeet has a flockmate, it will not bond to its human owner quite as much. But it will still obey and love the owner. And the parakeets are MUCH noisier when paired. Having one parakeet is just fine as long as you give it lots of attention and love.

Canary
you should look it up online and a whole bunch of pictures will come up.
a woodpecker a duck a eagle a hawk an owl a canary a parrot a parakeet a swan a goose a pelican a stork a seagull and I could keep on going on and on with many types of birds.
The only real way that a parakeet can die if another one doesn't peck at it is through the transmission of diseases.
OK if u buy a parakeet nothing will happen.
