Usually when a bird is in captivity it's wings are clipped, unless the enclosure is closed. (with a roof) But if that bird is specifically trained to fly, then it's wings will not be clipped but it is still in captivity.
When bird wings are not clipped, they can fly freely and have more control over their movement. This can lead to better exercise, exploration, and natural behavior for the bird. However, it may also pose risks if the bird flies away or gets into unsafe situations.
If you dont want them to fly away it might help. It does not hurt the bird but would you like your wings clipped.
Its wings are not clipped enough to prevent it from some flight. This is normal behavior for a young bird. More contact and handling is needed to make this bird feel comfortable with you holding it.
no they can fly, most pet birds have their wings clipped, preventing flight
