well with their wings they tuck them around them instilating all the heat, they live in nests but under the snow so they dont get eaten.

They also are white which allows them to blend into their surroundings so predators will not be able to see them.

Snowy Owls live in one of the coldest climates on earth. They survive on lemming which they catch in the rivers around their nests. The owl also moves south at certain times. They have been seen as far south as Tennessee.
